How it works
The market is a network. This page explains how a Packet is built, how a Node gets marked Connected, and where the numbers on gotwifi.fun come from.
What is $WIFI / $WYFI
$WIFI is this project's meme token. It's what you hold, stake into a Packet, and get paid out in — balances, stakes, payouts, Router Vault deposits and buybacks all run on $WIFI.
$WYFI is the ticker of WhiteFiber, an AI infrastructure company (GPU cloud, high-performance compute, data centers). It is not this project's token and not a WiFi company — the ticker just reads like "WiFi." $WYFI is WhiteFiber's official Robinhood Stock Token, and gotwifi.fun pairs $WIFI against it as the core narrative and liquidity anchor.
Why the pairing: everyone is trying to price the next market signal, and AI needs infrastructure the same way you need a password to get online. $WIFI ↔ $WYFI makes that joke literal — a meme paired one-for-one against a real, officially registered Stock Token, not an unrelated animal coin. Before any trade, the site re-verifies both sides against the Robinhood canonical registry; if either side isn't confirmed, the pair is marked PAIR NOT VERIFIED and trading is disabled rather than falling back to a same-ticker lookalike.
How a Packet works
A Packet is one multi-node prediction ticket. Building and sending one follows the same flow every time:
- Browse gotwifi.fun with or without a connected wallet — assets and live prices are visible to everyone.
- Pick a time window: 5m / 15m / 30m / 60m.
- Pick a difficulty: Safe / Bold / Wild. Difficulty sets how far each Node's target is from the current price, and its multiplier.
- Add 3 to 8 Nodes from the Meme or Stocks list. Each Node is one market condition — for the MVP, a Boost: the asset's price reaching or exceeding a target before time runs out.
- The Packet Builder updates live as you add Nodes: stake, combined multiplier, target payout, max payout, fee and countdown.
- Tap SEND PACKET. If your wallet isn't connected yet, you connect and switch to Robinhood Chain first.
- The frontend requests a signed Quote — every asset, start price, target price, end time, multiplier, stake, max payout, expiry and a unique nonce, all fixed before you sign anything.
- Approve $WIFI if needed, then submit the on-chain createPacket transaction.
- Once the transaction confirms you land on the Packet Detail page and watch each Node's Signal — its live progress toward target — update in real time.
- If every Node reaches Connected before the deadline, the whole Packet is Connected and you can claim the payout. If even one Node misses its target, the Packet is Packet Lost — settlement always comes from the settlement service and on-chain events, never from anything computed in your browser.
Packet states
A Packet moves through one state at a time, in this order. States are never set by the frontend — they reflect what the backend and the chain report.
Exists only in your browser. You haven't signed anything yet.
Add or remove Nodes, change your stake, freely.
The backend returned a signed, time-limited Quote for your Packet.
If the Quote expires before you send, it's recalculated automatically.
Your transaction has been broadcast and is waiting for on-chain confirmation.
Shows the tx hash plus retry / cancel guidance.
The Packet exists on-chain and the countdown is running.
Start prices and target prices are locked and cannot change.
Every Node in the Packet hit its target before the deadline.
Shows payout amount and claim status.
At least one Node failed to hit its target before the deadline.
Shows the final result for every Node in the Packet.
Payout has been claimed or paid out automatically.
Shows the payout transaction.
A price source failure, a trading halt, or another protocol-defined invalid condition.
Refunded per protocol rules — never decided by the frontend.
Signal Confirmation rules
A Node only flips to Connected once all of the following are true:
- The price comes from that asset's backend-designated canonical pool or oracle — the frontend never picks an unusually thin or newly created pool.
- The 15-second TWAP (time-weighted average price) is at or above the target price. A single trade print is never enough on its own.
- That condition holds across two consecutive samples, taken at least 5 seconds apart.
- Once a Node hits, it stays Connected permanently — it does not need to still be above target when the Packet's deadline arrives.
- Deadlines are measured against on-chain block time or a trusted keeper clock; the countdown you see on screen is for display only.
Why not just "touched it once"? A single-tick hit is more exciting, but low-liquidity meme assets are trivially easy to wick with one manipulated trade. Requiring a short TWAP plus two separate samples is the anti-manipulation tradeoff: it's barely slower for a real, sustained move, and much harder to fake with a single transaction. And because a hit is permanent, once you're in, you're in — the Node can't un-connect on a later dip.
Difficulty tiers
Difficulty sets the target distance and multiplier range for every Node you add. Time windows are 5m / 15m / 30m / 60m; longer windows widen the target range for the same difficulty since there's more time for price to move.

Time windows: 5m / 15m / 30m / 60m. Safe suits lower volatility and first-time Packets, Bold is the default, and Wild goes furthest but is capped by max payout and Vault exposure limits. Displayed ranges are indicative — actual per-asset targets and multipliers come from a signed Quote computed by the backend Risk Engine, not from anything calculated in the browser.
Fees & payout
Every Packet pays a protocol fee, deducted before your net payout is calculated. The exact fee percentage, Network Provider revenue share, and buyback ratio are [TBD] — they're finance / tokenomics decisions still pending confirmation before mainnet (see Contract addresses below). We won't list a number here until it's real.
Payouts for Connected Packets are backed by the Router Vault: failed Packets' stakes flow into the Vault, and the Vault pays out successful Packets. Anyone can become a Network Provider by depositing $WIFI into the Vault, taking on counterparty risk on outstanding Packets in exchange for a share of protocol revenue.
A portion of protocol revenue is used for $WIFI buybacks. Every buyback is executed through a verifiable on-chain transaction — see the Router Vault page for live TVL, liability and buyback data once available.
Contract addresses
None of these are confirmed yet. Ticker names are not proof of a real contract — until an address below is filled in from the official, audited deployment, treat any same-ticker contract you find elsewhere as unverified.
